Through-out many cultures there have always been oracles, prophets and shamans. I access information and healing energy support in much the same way. I have worked as a Spirit Centred Life Coach and Healing Facilitator now for over 30+years assisting thousands of people from all around the world. Alana’s Heart Story: Over eight years ago now – in 2002, I immigrated to New Zealand from America - (Minneapolis, Minnesota). I leaped into the great unknown, leaving behind a strong loving community, a coaching practice and the land of my birth. I crossed the great expanse of sea to explore what more there may be, as I entered more fully into my ‘heart’s destiny.’ Love drew me into a conscious committed relationship with the man who is now my husband, a Kiwi, whom I had long awaited. Through a magical song and the support of the internet, we came together to create a magical journey we had long prepared to share.

During this time, I continue to explore what it is to be a married woman living in a new country, working within a new culture, and exploring a new community where I am learning and developing; growing aspects of myself that are in one sense so familiar, yet in another, are akin to spending time with a new friend. The major changes that have occurred for me over this period have come about through making significant life choices and a commitment to live my true heart story.

Through a willingness to examine and change some core beliefs and behaviours which had limited me, I opened to experience new levels of love which empowered me to create a new foundation from which to grow and realize my heart’s dream. I had over many years been involved within my own very committed growth path, however it wasn’t until I completely severed my ties to all that I knew myself and my world to be, that I fully stepped into living a deeper and richer heart story! I know first hand what it is to let go of the past and to step into the current of the NOW! Akin to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, I came home to myself! I realized that home really is about growing the ‘loving sacred space within’ so that our outer life reflects the love of who we are.

Background Training and Experience:

Over the past 30 years, my combined experience as an Intuitive, Facilitator and Coach has given me the privilege to work with people who have focused upon the following types of goals: Creating a new career, achieving health and fitness goals, creating more fun in life, achieving more life balance, reduce stress, improve communication, create more fulfilling relationships, develop spiritual awareness, open creative flow, master emotions, overcome obstacles, achieve confidence, cultivate a more loving relationship with self. From 1989 to the present, I have been working as a Coach and Facilitator assisting thousands of people to address and resolve issues in support of creating their best life.

In 1993, I trained with the CTI, Coaches Training in Minnesota (USA) to grow my coaching skills. Through Lake Harriet Community Church In Minneapolis, MN – from 1992-1997, through the support of community I grew my practice of working as both a Spiritual Intuitive and Life Coach and from 1989-1996, I worked at Pathways Healing Centre - with individuals and groups challenged with life threatening Health Issues and Life Transition Challenges. In earlier days from 1984-1989, I received training through Chrysalis Centre for Women; where I developed facilitation skills and through Hennepin Community College 1983-1985, I received a counselling certification and completed internships working with adults and children. Additional trainings have included Process Oriented Psychology (POP) originated by Arnold Mindell, and Mentoring with well known Psychic: Echo Bodine.
I have been involved with the AFN - Facilitator’s Network Participation - AFN Conference: in support my developing my professional network in New Zealand.
